McLeod, taking you on your word the quote above could be correct, however, you admit to still learning and in the OP you said they were all grade 2 guns but then one changed to grade 3. What you consider very fine condition may look different to someone else. Pictures and comprehensive description of frame size, dimensions, LOP, butt and grip type, determination of original barrel length and originality of all components is what we need to give you any degree of reliable value. Also remember asking prices are usually on the high side. Actual value can vary greatly. |
The Serialization Book shows 234433 is a GH, not a DH.

Thanks all for your help. Should have a new Parker soon.

with the information given IMHO $5K is steep. Just a year or so ago I bought a nice PH 16 on an O frame for around $3K.

I sold my 12 ga #2 frame 30" PHE in high condition to a collector who bugged me for it for years for $2500, but the transaction occurred during what the Aleut Eskimos refer to as "the Dream Time". Even though prices have advanced accordingly since then, I agree with Rich; a $5K gun would have to be a screamer. I would want to pay that for a 60-70% 20 ga. in the same configuration in today's market.
