I tested a case of the 7/8 20 ga Rio against RST. I found the Rio burnt very clean but at 1250 vs 1125 had noticeably more kick. An old engineering calculation is Energy= 1/2 Mass x Velocity squared. That puts the Rio 23.4% higher in energy. That may not directly correlate to kick but I could feel the difference. I am sticking with RST.

Pretty hot load. I used to shoot them but stopped two years ago.

Did not see the data but someone told me PSI over 10,000.

I don't know if it is true or not. But having used Rios for years in my Parkers they would all get loose over time.
Now after having switched to RST I have not had a single one get loose or have any issues.

Just my observations.

BTW: the RST shells break the clays just as hard if not better and at any distance.

For my Parkers RST is the only shell I want to use if I have my choice.
