Mark's pictures of his 28ga Parkers
|
The 28's are my favorite Parkers. A good friend and fellow SC collector has a very high condition all original 28 ga in EVERY grade from VHE up to AAHE! I will attempt to get a picture of the group and maybe a PP story. The AAHE is actually a two gage, 20 & 28 ga set! It is nice to have friends like him.:)

Nice guns Mark. It would be neat to gather a bunch of 28's for a group photo, maybe even a 28 event next spring at Drake.
I agree David. I truly love my 20's but there is something very special about the 28ga. I can see that when I get as old as you I 'll be shooting those 28's 90% of the time.:):) |
Very nice ! I just got home from an auction that had a VH 28 gauge . Was on an "0" frame Identification book says it was supposed to be 28" and it was 26" the box at the end of the rib looked pretty cobbled . Barrel was reblued , action re color cased , wood redone Nd not well plus a Pachmeyer White Line pad . The gun was made before 1908 . And it brought $4000 which "I thought" was stout for what I saw .

What's not to like about a 28??.......Absolutely nothing:corn:

Thanks all
Wasn't sure I should tell the story But being a 28 thought it was kind of cool I told my wife I didn't have enough money now to buy her a Mothers Day gift or even a card.... |

I told her one day she should be glad he doesn't gamble , drink excessively or is a womanizer . And on top of that atleast he can always sell what he buys and get some of not all or more of his money back . |
Mark - so's how's living in the dog house thing working out for you?
|
Now I need a 410. Going to be saving money for a while
