He sure does.

Yeah, especially the one that reads: Krupp Steel, Phila, PA USA :nono::eek:

the 16 ga match was a success for everyone.
I will post scores, number of shooters etc for details later this week. Smith won by three targets. |
John
I didn't think I would be down there in time for the 16 event so I didn't bring one. But your idea was brilliant and well received. I don't know what the numbers show but the place was jamming- people were having a great time and the day was beautiful. Great idea and thanks for taking the initiative to do this. 16 and 8 gauge added this year- 410 next year???? |
Rumor has it the organizations are thinking 410 next year vs eight bore. I say organizations but I guess I really mean those who thought of the eight bore event.
I was planning on 20 ga vs 16 ga next year. My original plan is to have the Thursday event change gauges each year and keep it to the most popular/obtainable gauges so more folks can participate. (16 and 20. Maybe a 10 bore). It (the grudge match event) has been requested to take place at the Fall Southern as well. |

Awww come on Eric. I did you proud.
That is one special 8 gauge DH. You should see my black and blue from shooting the high riser with the left barrel. The first shot caused my finger to pop out of the trigger guard and the gun butt slipped off my shoulder and down my arm. Still killed that bird though!!!!! |
I will confirm there is talk about doing a 410 match next year. Right now, it is just talk, but the idea has had good reception. Like John said, we want to keep it fresh and do something different each year.
