Reportedly, the gentleman who tipped him off to its whereabouts is also a very gifted, furniture restoration specialist who gently cleaned the piece and performed a few minor repairs.

Would be a fun project to make one that said "Parker." Find the right older back bar and do some carving and remodeling. Walnut is pretty easy to blend in with older work.
