Couple questions, the decoys are in the trailer? How big is your spread and what type of field are you shooting in. I'm guessing final approach blinds or similar. What a haul...must've been quite a day.

Decoys are in the trailer.

About 200 Bigfeet and some other various.

Blind I was in was a Rogers XL.

Winter wheat field.

It was an interesting hunt, 18 guys shoulder to shoulder.

Out of the field by 10am.

Not my style, wouldn't do it again l, but it was impressive to see once.

I was waiting to shoot till the first volley was over, taking my birds overhead or further out. Otherwise you had no idea if you were killing anything or not.

Not what we went out there to do, we were supposed to hunt just our group of 3 in a different area. But due to the warm weather, there were just no birds up there. We ended up moving down to the main camp Where they only hunt the massive groups. We were supposed to hunt 4 days, we shot two, did our little bird hunt, and left.

Nothing against the guide service, they were actually great and we did have a good time. As I said before, simply just not my style.

Yeah, I can't imagine the thunder 18 goose hunters make when the shooting starts.
That alone would kill our club for a week or so.

They do it like that every day after the geese get there. Often killing over 100 birds a morning as amazing as that sounds. Its an 8 dark goose limit, and I don't know how many whites.

In California, daily limit is 10 dark and 15 white geese with 3 limits in possession.

The Canadians were thick as flies around Denver when I was there up to Dec 1. After it snowed and stuck any area of exposed grass, such as around schools and golf courses, was blanketed. Can't imagine the mess.

A friend worked on that pic to get the weeds out of the poor dogs face. Looks a lot better.
