As I said, once in the club you are in. I'm not but hope springs eternal.
That being said, if you are in the club you should be able to BUY an extra pin for that extra hat or vest.
Just don't buy an extra pin and give one to Dean.

I've only ever qualified twice in doubles, the first time was on woodcock back in '61 or '62 and the second time was on ruffed grouse back in '09 or so. I have 1 pin and keep swapping it back and forth between hats. I would buy a second pin if that became an option.

I have shot numerous doubles with Parkers on doves. Heck, I shot 3 in one day last year. I've never applied for a doubles pin because a double on doves is just not that difficult to accomplish. On the other hand, if by some stoke of luck I manage to shoot a true double on grouse, I'll definitely be applying for a pin. My point, doubles are not created equal and perhaps the pin should reflect that.

How about the first pin stays the way the program is currently structured. If you shoot a subsequent double(s) and report it to Mary for recognition and a letter there would be a charge for the pin if it is so desired.

I second Craig up there and it looks like a bunch of folks do as well. Charge for a profit and I for one would be happy to pay.

In a housekeeping matter, the online info on the Doubles Club indicates multiple free pins are available. Might be a good idea to edit that

That option is currently being discussed by the BOD.
Right now Mary has literally only a handful of Doubles Club pins.

I will have a double bourbon on-the-rocks please.
I had a slam dunk double opprtunity with my VHE 20 this year, but the second bird would have put me over the legal limit, so I just said bang. But dont feel sorry for me, the limit grouse was my fifth for the day, and any day you can do that, you are a lucky man

I'll toast to that. Good job!

One of these days I am going to get into grouse hunting.

Way to go Harold! It is a rare day anymore that I can get 5 shots in one day much less connect with them.
