Yes a picture would be nice. That is a very late Remington repair code. Edgar Spencer once owned a VHE with a sick number of repair codes on it but even on that one I think the latest was February 1951.
The appearance of Rem codes are neither a plus or minus to condition or value. They may help explain a change in the gun (re-blued barrels, restocking, etc.) but those are wild guesses.

To clarify Remington codes - There are NO records indicating what may have been done to a gun that was sent back to Remington and now has a code with a 3 suffix.
