I could not agree more about a good fixed blade broadhead. I now shoot the Slick Trick 100 grain with my Matthews Creed at about 60 lbs.
I am only some what familiar with the Meeker area. I did hunt elk 3 times out of the High Meadows ranch on public land. Located about 25 miles south of Steamboat. I took 2 4x4 and 1 5x5 on those hunts. Good memories.
