It can't possibly any more expensive than the venison I've taken from Vermont in 50 years of hunting there.

Jeff Foxworthy does a funny skit on this subject on "The Incomplete Deer Hunter" DVD. He figures the cost of venison up to about $739 a pound or something like that. It's funny, but might be true too
