Are you saying the load data you are using won't fit in the short hulls ?

I have no idea about the 28ga as I don't load them ,but if it doesn't fit the shorter hulls , you will need to find data with a lower stack height .

Although for the most part , I don't like Shotgun World , you could check with those guys over there .

Some of those guys are very knowledgeable and lot of them load the 28ga

I think I will for sure try another load with a shorter stack and keep the hulls separate because I believe you are correct... I will not get this load into these hulls with any consistency.. Thanks to all for the input..

I asked two guys that load the 28 HS hull at a 5-stand shoot last evening. They were quick to confirm the hull length discrepancy and moan about it a bit. They were rattling off load recipes that work for them but I cannot remember, nor would I trust my memory, of anything they suggested. I do remember the one guy saying to try a Federal wad. Sorry I cannot be of more help but you can rest assured others are struggling with the same dilemma and have found a solution. Keep looking.
