I spoke with Joe yesterday and today. He's a great guy and a grouse hunter too.
Anyway, I ordered an ejector hammer from him. I think I'll fit it myself. I know the Parker ejector mechanism is a bit complex but nothing a relatively smart fella can't accomplish if he takes his time. . |
The next items I am having made is more screws. For grip caps, trigger guards and SSBPs. They all use the same screw. The ones I am having made will be high headed with no slots, just like my buttplate screws.
I am having around 500 made. |

I have received my most recent order of screws.
These screws are good for Parker trigger guards, grip caps and SSBPs. High headed with no slots so they can be properly fitted. I now have 400 of them on hand. Attachment 45916 |
Very nicely done Brian - those are the best reproduction screws I've ever seen. A year or so ago I was visiting with David Trevallion and he was looking for some of those in all sizes. Congrats on finding someone to make them for you

I am going to ask a stupid question. In the case of installing an oversized hinge pin, I am assuming the frame holes have to be enlarged. Is my assumption correct?

Great Brian as you know there's a definite need for parts of all types. As you are aware Tony Galazan does do some does do some but less and less

Trigger plate screws are now in. High headed with no slots for fitting.
I have 400 of these on hand. Price is $3.00 as they are. Attachment 47386 |
Brian - Dumb question... How do you turn the screws in so they can be oriented for the final slotting?
