So, I finally was able to sell my Parker for enough money to buy her the belt, only to find out that the very same day she had sold her kidney in order to get enough money to buy me an oak and leather carrying case for the Parker.

Luckily, she had two kidneys so we were able to sell the other one so I could buy my Parker back. The case fit perfectly. All's well that ends well.

Greg, I'm very confused... Are you saying what I think you're saying?

A person needs at least one kidney in order to survive or go for dialysis daily.

Back in the sixties I came home from work one day and was informed that the baby was out of formula so I took a Ithaca lever action 22 over to a local hangout and all but gave it away and bought formula. Didn't know about kidneys.

And if you believe that one I own a bridge between Manhattan & Brooklyn that I'll let you have cheep!

My first Parker was acquired by me at the tender age of eight or nine. It is a 10 gauge Grade 3 hammergun with poorley replace wood but in excelland condition otherwise. I traded it to the owner of the service station where my Dad did business. The trade was even for a 16 gauge single barrel Stevens. I still have that first Parker.
He even through in a box of 10 gauge Super X shells.
