It's very hard to confuse a Trojan with a VH.
Easiest identifier is to read the rib legend. One says Trojan Steel and the other says Vulcan Steel. |

I am looking at a receiver flat this is a trojan gun correct?
Does that have Parker Brothers engraved on the side ?
Looks to be a early Trojan
I thought so, guy has it listed as a vh and said it several times.Hard to ignore someone while looking a gun over.
Thanks again |
I'll have to look gun over again in the morning and double check it all.I would swear it said vulcan on barrels with matching serial number.
Give us a picture of the side of the frame and the rib inscription and rib extension .
That hammer gun looks to be in pretty amazing condition if it's all original. A lot of folks here would be all over that cutie.
OV is the stamped designation of the Trojan, regardless of what the barrels are marked. It could be a Trojan with Vulcan barrels fitted but if the forend is a snap-on fit then maybe the rib doesn't say Vulcan at all?

Right, I'll confirm it all tomorrow.
