How do these Eurasian dove taste in comparison to Morning or White Wing ?

In my opinion they taste a little bit better.

Well I did not count my shell expenditure I usually average 2 shells to every bird I shoot. Some days better some days worse. I usually shoot Eurasian doves once a week every week all year long for about 50 birds ea outing. I once shot 103 in one day just to fulfill my anticipated goal of doing so (had to do a morn and afternoon to accomplish the goal) The dove opener has lost it's charm as I am in heaven all year long. My biggest decision is which SXS's to shoot ea outing. I may need more guns!!!!!

That sounds like heaven to me!! And you get to fill the freezer and frying pan to boot. I saw a couple of those doves in the yard in Denver last year. They're huge.

They are beginning to show up around here in North Georgia. I wonder how many states they are in now.

I've seen a few in La. last year while on a woodcock hunt.They were around the lodge yard where there was a bird feeder.There are alot in Florida but don't flock like the morning or whitewings we have.There are alot around the dairys with the feeding troughs.
Good bird to extend the season or daily bag limit.I notice they fly different,not as fast and a larger bird.

In certain areas in South Texas they congregate in large numbers....already a common "bonus bird" during the season here. I have gone on a few 100+ birds per shooter outings when concentrations are located. They are great table fare! They are most definitely less challenging than Mourners to hit......they dont have that same ability to jink the nanosecond the hammer falls! Wish we had them as reliable as that here!
