There's a learning curve to driving one, if all you've ever driven was an ATV , but it don't take long to get the hang of it ,always do your maintenance and carry spare drive belts (don't ask how I know ).

if you hunt in ugly terrain ,this IS the machine.

I thought it might be easy to get high centered  I have a chance to buy a 98 with 130 hours on it with tracks for between $7500 and $8000, is that a buy or a maybe..?

Here's one you won't see everyday.Deck is 8' off the ground and tower seats are 13' off.Five ton running gear and chevy 350 for power.Goes way faster than I like to go 8' off the ground.
We do some bird hunting off of it occasionally when water is high looking for snipe.

I bet the dogs don't like it much when you go through high water. I can't imagine what you're up against when you get stuck. When my Country Squire gets stuck, I'm only five feet off the road.

All dogs get a mask and snorkel.Just joking water rarely gets mid way up the tires. But whole ranch or area can be under water at times.
It is 4 wheel drive but it will get stuck in certain areas. When it does get stuck it takes more than a couple trucks or another buggy to pull it out.

I know the one my buddy has cost on the high side of 20 grand when new with all the bell's and whistles ...I think for the hours and tracks ,depending on physical condition 7500.00 don't sound bad .

Here's mine. It does double duty as a skinner also.

Here is mine. We use it for hunting, sporting clays, and exploring. My young boys drive most of the time.

I'd like to upgrade my Kawasaki Brute Force 750 to a new one with power assisted steering !

I'd like to upgrade my Chevy S-10 4x4 crewcab to a new Chevy Silverado 3/4 ton diesel 4x4 crew cab .

And last but not least I'd like to add one of those Bass Pro Shop camo jon boat deals with side console steering and about a 50 HP outboard for use on the Eastern Shore of Maryland .

But I don't want much :rotf:

Some of these things look like they came out of a Mad Max movie. This is one of my favorite threads. I was going to post a pic of my Jeep Cherokee but after seeing these awesome battle wagons she's not quite ready to be called "Hunting Buggy". However she is evolving and when complete I'll resurrect this thread and post pics
