Drillings are a whole lot of fun to play with, but you have to be very careful with the older ones. Try to find one from the 1920's to the 1930's if you want the best quality at a reasonable price. Post war drilling's are expensive and, in my opinion, don't have the eye appeal of the prewar examples. I've had a few, and my favorite is an early 1930's Greifelt 16 ga. in 7x57 caliber.

no i do nt know where it was made..i bought this gun from a friend who bought this gun in europe while in the service..he took the gun back to europe about 10 years later acully found the gun smith who made the gun and had it totally gone thru...he guided hunters in alaska he said it was always in his back pack with him on hunting trips...charlie
