Ummm Dean.....Yes you are.

Mike Franzen 02-20-2015 07:53 PM

Dean I just assumed that if you were going mammoth hunting you would want to do a "vintage" mammoth hunt as opposed to shooting them from helicopters or using drones.

I like Mike's idea
Another alternative to that would be a "Trade Hunts" forum. For example, I'd like to trade a day's fly fishing in my riverboat on the Au Sable for a duck/goose shoot in the midwest

Some how I new dean had a Clovis point. And I think I see some leftover blood on it.

.

looks more like a knife blade

i have one like that from the paleo period- I always figured the last time it was seen before I found in in a scraped spot in the dirt on a ridge in the finger lakes a few years ago was when the father said to his son- yes you can borrow it BUT DON'T LOSE IT.

My Dad always said "Remember where it belongs... in MY rawhide possibles bag!"

My clovis points are made by Nosler.

Clovis point for mammoth, Mike, I've got just the ticket--found on our family farm in the 1950's by my father while plowing.
BTW, I would happy to share my coverts with you, been thinking about writing a little myself also.
