Bill:

Unfortunately, she passed away from a stroke earlier this year. She had been living with one of my sons and his family. She lived a good life though. Excellent pheasant dog and was adored by the grand-daughters. Very gentle and patient in the house with the girls, but she was a terror on roosters.

Sorry to hear about your pup, Al. On the other hand, Eva is still a wild and crazy puppy and "a terror on roosters" is a bit of an understatement in her mind.

Welcome to the club Al. It is always pleasure hearing from Vets. I personally spent 21 years in the Air Force. Up, up, and away!!

Paul Adams-New member from Michigan.

I have always had an interest in Parker shotguns.

I purchased a Repro a number of years ago and was amazed at the detail. Recently I was bitten by the "Single Barrel Trap" bug and have been actively studying and pursuing one.

I am an active Grouse hunter around the Grayling, MI area with my dog "Charlie".

I look forward to meeting members and making friends.
I'm also an active skeet, trap and sporting clays shooter.

Paul - I will be arriving at our cabin near Kellogg's Bridge on the North Branch in about 4 hours. Am trying to figure out whether to shoot skeet in Grayling, or Clays in Lewiston on Sunday. Hope we can meet up. Are you a fly fisher as well?

paul adams 12-27-2014 10:11 AM

John, I would enjoy shooting but will not be Up North till later this week. If your still around then possibly we can meet.

John Dallas 12-27-2014 02:06 PM

The only shooting in the area is Wednesday and Sunday. I'll be leaving here on Thursday, driving down to the OGCA show on Friday. If you're up before then maybe we can get together for a cuppa at the Grayling Restaurant, or a beer and burger at Spike's Keg of Nails.
