We had a pre 1875 back action lifter in 10 gauge at the shop I procrastinated over . The gun was missing firing pins and the bushings . We sold it on GB , I kinda wish I had bought it . It came from the same place as my Grade 2 top lever 10 and my repaired GH 12 .

I have shot many 90 degree lifters with RST shells, have not had a problem, I think the ones we see cracked are the result of heavy loads and thousands of rounds of shooting, yes the radius is better but I certainly would not pass up a nice lifter just because it did not have the radius, just my two cents, Gary

I agree, Gary. Maxi Lites are just the shell for the early lifters. Also, I would not hesitate to buy a high grade lifter that was cracked. While I understand why those who knew where that $250 grade was being auctioned kept their cards close to their chest, I wish they had followed through.

Well I "acquired" a circa 1881 lifter in 10 gauge today . This one is radiused . I think it may have a not original stock .

This is my newest Parker. A grade 3, It's just after they changed to a radius at the water table/ standing breach. I didn't get a picture of it, but it has the whole 5 digit SN on the end of the rear barrel lug.

You dream bigger dreams than I. I was dreaming it was a 16, but it's really only a 12. Being a 1 frame, it feels like a 16.
Somebody give Gary a call and make sure he didn't have a heart attack.

Just foolin' with you Edgar.

It is a beautiful D.
