Also helpful would be the gun configuration, serial number and barrel type/material.

If you're loading volume, like I normally do, stick to the fold crimp. With a roll crimp on plastic shells, after it's shot you'll have to straighten out the end and that takes time. Also, in my experience, it's quicker to start and final crimp than it is to insert and set a OSC, pull it out of the press and then put it in a roll crimper and crimp. JMHO - Paul

Thanks for the interest.
I have been loading some AA Winchester shells with 7/8 oz shot on the regular press and they are working out fine. So far have put about 200 through the gun and there is no hint of a problem.
