Those Damascus barrels on that Baker Paragon (?) are spectacular.
Reason for my question mark is that I was under the impression that Paragons had the lug that protruded a bit below the bottom surface of the receiver -- http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...nGunbottom.jpg |

We have done several Paragons. The protruding beveled lug seems to be feature on the earlier ones. We see this even in some Batavias. Brad |
Brad:
Thanks so much for yet another example of the depth of information re doubles you will find at this site. Your work on Damascus (or, for that matter any double) is just outstanding. I keep coming back to the pictures of your craftsmanship, posted by both yourself and several other PCGA members, to look again and again at how the barrel patterns jump out, the quality of the wood work and the case colors. Art that shoots well and history that lives again. I await, like a kid before Christmas, for the result of your complete restoration of my 10 G hammer gun. I have usually passed on older Parkers that needed work, but now I keep an eye out for these old treasures, knowing I have a resource that can and will do the job right. Patrick Butler |

I have only done two but we did not have time to take picts. It is on my list. Brad |
A 10 gauge hammerless Colt on Gunbroker a few years ago is in my "ones that got away" category

Brad's damascus barrel restorations are the best in the business--bar none.

Brad: I recently purchased a Super Fox HE from Heritage Auctions that I was told you & Kirk Merrington did the restoration on. It is magnificant.
