That depends on where you live. I live in New Hampshire about 2 hour drive from the auction and I would ship it home. You see, New Hampshire has no sales tax and the savings of taking position at home more than offsets the cost of shipping & insurance. Maine has a health sales tax and if the difference is great between your home state and Maine ....... you get the idea.

I have an FFL and a tax number . So that's pretty much a moot point .

If I have over 10 G's tied up in a gun I'd much rather have it in transport in my vehicle rather then a common and I do mean common carrier .
