I knew we had some experts here!

Not everything a person needs to know about Parkers is in TPS.

wayne that is the kind of checkering you get when ordering a punt gun..someone has had this old gun in a vise of somekind both sides of stock is this way..the rib is 1/2 inch highand solid steel and i bet there is over a pound of silver solder in the rib and under the fore arm..i should have put the slip on band that came with it to keep the barrels closed... if you notice the hose clamp i put on this gun s stock is the 4 th thing done to repair the stock first copper sheet metal 2 nd was copper wire wrapped around stock 3 rd was everthing soldered together 4 th hose clamp put on by me...shes a shooter now... charlie

Better idea for all of those. Part them out. Parts have to come from somewhere.

i guess we have done every thing but answer bruces question about his gun the ghe parker..first let me apoligize for getting off track..a gh with ejectors will be higher in value than a gh..a good place to look to get and idea how much the gun s worth is on gunbroker...some of us here would probly give you a ball park figure if we had some pictures to look at...again sorry for getting off course...charlie

You guys are WAY off. Nothing beats a good old #10 or #12 flat head wood screw . . . preferably carbon steel. Six or seven usually do the job.

I have posted the pictures as you suggested and can provide more upon request. thanks

I am not the one to answer this question, but the pics of the gun look nice.

Here is a link to his album he posted:

I think your GH is a very nice gun, in what appears to be, in super condition. Either that's the nicest GH piece of wood ever, or it's plastic. Oh, wait. I remember my mother bought some nice walnut contact paper once.
It's way nicer than Bruce's single shot SxS.

Edgar: "It's way nicer than Bruce's single shot SxS." I didn't know anyone had something nicer than Bruce's guns, except maybe the turnip farmer. Enjoy seeing the like new and patched up ones. Bob

Very nice piece of wood on that gun.
