I've known Annette since she was a baby in her mother's arms. I knew her mother way before Annette was thought of. She is harmless, just keeps bad company.

I'll be there shortly and swing by and give Murphy a hard time. That is if I wasn't finally plowed in last night by those elusive VDOT snow crews. My neighborhood as of last night hasn't yet seen a plow. I've got piles of snow 7 feet tall, and that was all man made by me, three kids (my own) and lots of snow shovels.

Annette and her Show Rottweilers run a VERY tight ship. Seems one of the staff floorwalkers observed a longtime vendor scanning blank vendor badges on a PC scanner/printer after the show closed to the public, presumably for distribution to his buddies. The vendor was immediately ejected from the show, charges were filed with local police, banned from all future shows, and will face a variety of criminal misdemeanor charges (not sure what). VERY bad news since the guy was an FFL holder who transferred guns purchased at the show, quite a convenience since there are less than a half-dozen holders doing so at this, a very busy show. Moral ; play by the rules and Don't mess with Annette and the Show Rottweilers!!!

We had a good time but no one ended up with any finds that I know of. One exception may have been that one of our tablemates scored a near mint 1895 L.C. Smith Syracuse frame transition hammer gun for a knockdown price. Phillip Futrell was not there, nor was Roger Bain or Mike Cairns, for different reasons, so some fine guns that may have been available, weren't. We will be looking forward to the Baltimore Show for more finds.
