Charlie the Gun is original the case colors as you can see have survived well this gun must have been in a closet and not in a lot of light, I have always thought handling and sunlight do a job on case color, Gary

i think youre right about the handleing and sunlight being hard on a gun s colors for sure i know sunlight will eventually ruin a cars hupolostery and paint...but time has been kind to that gun of yours not many in that good of shape...charlie

Charlie I think that is a heck of find. Cant wait to see pictures. I don't think I have heard of a grade 1 3 frame 12.

I found an orphan set of 12 gauge 3 frame barrels for my DH 10 gauge when Brian Dudley restored it for me. They are not overrated

that was a good find a set of 3 frame 12 ga barrels..to me it seems that finding a set of 3 frame 12 ga barrels would be much more diffucult to find than a whole gun 3 frame 12...what is the stamped weight of your 3 frame 12 ga barrels mine are stamped 5 lb 6 ounce..and what isthe length of your barrels on the 3 frame 12 mine are 32.. charlie

Length is 30" and looks like 5 lbs
