I apologize this is a it off topic, but Iwould like to know if anyone ever figured out the meaning of F9R that crops upon the water tables of many early lifters?

To the best of my knowledge we have never been able to determine the original meaning of the F9R stamp on the left water table of these early Lifters. There have been numerous guesses put forth but…

I see J.G. Heath's name on many IBM cards. I just recently discovered R.G means "Returned Goods".
