I am related to procrastinators everywhere I think. My wife's pet name for me is Tomorrow.

Pat, your pet name is my Motto.

Dave Suponski 01-28-2010 09:49 PM

Thanks for the laugh...That a great pet name....:rotf: Hey that could work...Dean"Tomorow" Romig.....:duck:

Dean Romig 01-28-2010 10:04 PM

When I was in the USAF I was attached to a group named Material Air Transport Squadron... MATS for short. It was quite appropriate for me anyhow as we nicknamed it May Arrive Tommorow Sometime... seems to work for me

If you don't expect too much from me... you won't be disappointed.

Time and theory of Relativity

I understand, only too well. This Sunday ends our late 30 day "bonus Goose season"--I've had a few good clean shots, mainly hunted the rivers, as so many famers left their uncut corn standing, due to high moisture content this past Fall-

It seems forever until next October-- I believe the late Albert Einstein had this "layman's" version of his theory of relativity-- "When you sit next to a beautiful girl on a park bench and chat- for three hours- it seems like it was only three minutes, BUT when you touch a hot stovetop with your finger for one second, it seems like one hour"--

Pat, how about a picture of that setter? I remember when I was a pup, Dad and I wanted to take some off season pictures of my Irish Setter on point. We didn't have birds at home, so we took Mom's parakeet out in the yard, put the cage in a stand of ribbon grass and walked Rusty "into the studio". I still have those parakeet point pictures.

I most definitely am going to personally test Einsteins theory. I know about the hot stove part it's the park bench theory that I will have to investigate to a certainty. I will see what I can do with the picture of Willow.

Well I went to the pet store and they were unwilling to lend me a parakeet for my intended purpose so this is the best I could do with the pictures.

No Parakeets need apply?

Pat- that is indeed one handsome Setter. Great pose. In reply to Bro Romig's definition of MATS (and I flew a few "stand-bys" on MATS - mainly C-130 CargoMasters if memory serves- where we learned to 'stand by to stand by"- we said "May Actually Takeoff Sometime""-

About 12 years ago in late March- NBA Playoffs- Mae and I went to Nashville for a convention, stayed outside Louisville the night they made the "Final Four"--It was raining and I made the mistake of parking near the motel's Dumpster- after breakfast when I went to get our vehicle, it was blocked by the large trash pickup truck--had the initials "BF&I" on the cab.

I went in and asked the manager if he could help, which he did, and he told me that stood for "Brute Force and Ignorance"-- his words, not mine, but I liked it..:rolleyes:
