I have bought several guns from Julias over the last few years, and have not had any bad experiences, all above board, and will buy again from them, One day I will think about parting with my collection and have thought about consigning with them also. I am speaking of my personal dealings only and can not speak for others, Gary

Julia's has a long history of selling wonderful firearms at astounding prices...this past auction is no exception.

This was my first Julia auction and I was pleased. Rare, high quality items at prices much less than gun shows or internet sites. I bought the Angelo Bee and Runge Parker upgrades, bid on the 410 Foxes, sporting Mausers & Springfields but got blown away on those. I bid absentee for discipline but followed the action on proxibid.com. The realized prices including buyer premium are now posted on Julia's website.

Recent J Julia Auction/ Third Day Parker

I was out of the country and turned in a absentee bid for #3503, a nice original DHE 16 with a factory vent rib. The estimate listed was $7,500 to $12,500 (which I thought was a bit high). Anyway, I bid 10.5 K, and believed that I had a good chance, given the recent J Julia Parker auction results, but was blown away by the final bid of $18,795. Add the 18 1/2% and you have a very high price for a D grade 16...

That was indeed a very nice DHE, sorry you were outbid. Not everything went cheap. Best shotgun deals were English & European guns IMO, but not all of those either.

The Julia's catalog is truly the Playboy for gun collectors. First class

Patrick, I believe the price you quote includes the buyer's premium already. Still a very strong price at that.

Erick

Forest, congrats on two GREAT guns. I already spent my limit this year on guns but I still follow them. You pick up two of the nicer guns. Frank

Thank you Frank, the Runge is especially nice IMO, signed & dated 1979, when Bob Runge retired from Remington to work with Del Grego. The Bee upgrade is lots of flash for not quite so much cash, not really like an authentic Parker, but I will probably never have an original high grade Parker, which is why I like repros. This auction had many great Parkers as well as other guns, I think it totaled $18.5 million.

How about #3494
Very nice Parker
I picked it up and thought wow they feel 32-62K it will go for
It went for 100,000
It was fun to be able to hold and look at that one…
Never held a 100,000 Firearm before
And at that price it was a partial refinish, reblue Bbls, and little case
Imagine what a 90% one would bring
How much is the power ball this weekend??
