Rich and George here are your answers. It has 28 inch barrels with weight of 6.45 pounds and LOP of 14 inches and a couple more photo's. I'm sorry the dickering of this gun is over because he makes the best blackberry wine around. Thomas

Congrats Thomas thats a fine, fine gun. To bad Grouse season is so far away.
|
Rich: It will be fine with just handling it with a nice glass of wine from the bottle he gave me. I now have to think up some excuse to go back to his house for some more wine. I can return the empty bottles, thats it, I solved the problem. Thomas

How difficult is it to remove the stock on this NID I don't care for that varnish look. I think a hand rubbed oil would look richer. Thomas

It shouldn't be that difficult. If your going to remove the varnish I would consider haveing the checkering recut. It has a very nice pattern and hand cut checkering and an oil finish would really make it shine. Just a thought.
|
Rich: My thoughts exactly. It would look a lot better with recut checkering. Thomas
