Let's just put it this way. If what you have on there now looks bad. It will not help the gun as an overall package on resale. Making the back more proper will nothing it help it and make it more presentable.

I'd replace a real ugly recoil pad. They make replicas, check Brownells. Not too expensive, but then you have to get one that fits. It is not as simple as it looks. A smith will charge you bout $60 to put one on and that'll include the price of the pad.

I almost never sell or trade a gun (but I have). My wife keeps telling me to "get rid of a few".

Same here and if I tell my wife what a gun is worth she says, "Prove it.... sell it for that price."

Well theres so many guns I want im never contempt so sometimes I will sale one gun to fund the purchase of a more expensive gun .
