July has always been a bit slow at OGCA and it is also rather short notice. I'm not trying to influence anyone's decision, just putting in my two cents. I am still paying dues and haven't been to a show for several years.

That's the last gun I need for my collection Gary.....! Remember when you needed a 8 ga P grade fluid steel gun for your collection.... Tell you what I'll display all of the D grades flluid and damascus and you just bring your 20 DH damascus and drop it in the display to finish out the collection.. |
From my experience, the January show is well-attended.

John I will be in Fla Dec to April

Eric, I sold the gun you need four year ago, Do not drool when you read this! This is from the letter I recieved from Kirby. Serial # 169817 was ordered on August 11 1914 and shipped on November14, 1914 to Keesler Hardware Co of Salisbury N.C. According to Order book 91 it was a DHE hammerless 20ga. it featured damascus barrels with a length of 24" I might can find the name of the person I sold it to in my records if you want me to look I found out later they only made 1-2 with 24" barrels in Damascus
|
Eric also the gun was in pristine condition the guy at the hardware store bought it for his son but for whatever reason he did not give it to him. I researched this gun salisbury historical Assc several years ago
