I saw a BHE 32 inch VR 410 at the Southern. The asking price was well into 6 figures:eek:

David ,Congrats on your new 410 ,I hope you are planning on shooting it and really enjoying your ownership of such a fine gun ! I bought one a few years back ,it was a major decision as I had to trade my DH 28 Ga. w/ Factory 25" Barrels ," The Only One on Record in that configuration " , to make the deal affordable for me ,but I really like the 410 , It is my Woodcock gun and I don't enjoy carrying any of my guns as much as I do this one ! This gun started life as a VHE 410 and has been upgraded by DelGreco and Engraved by Runge ,to a BHE , it is as close to a factory B Grade 410 that I will ever own ! Thought you might like to take a look at it so I added a couple of Pics. ! I usually get a few comments on my back ground piece when I post a picture seems the Guys really like the Rug I laid the gun on ,but I have broad shoulders :rotf: ! Russ

That's a beauty Russ! I do plan on enjoying the 410 but it will take some getting used to.
There are a couple of BHE 410 upgrades in the upcoming Julia's auction and I have a feeling they will go close to the high estimate. That's way out of my league. I'll get this one looking right and it will do until I hit the lottery. :rotf: |
I enjoy shooting mine. I load the std 2/1/2inch skeet load and if I can hit 50% on the sporting clays course I feel like I had a great day. I also hunt preserve birds esp Quail with it and it does make for a nice rabbitt gun as well. There are those that snicker at the 410 but I'd rather have one of them than a 10ga.:)

Maybe Dave Noreen would share some of the background of the .410s at the Vintage Cup.

Russ, I love seeing pictures of that gun. I went squirrel hunting this weekend with my VH 28 gauge and boy, what a hoot!
