that is a heck of a nice looking double. its funny, but I never really noticed how similar the hammers are on some of the British guns. Here is a Greener from the 1870s that has similar hammers. perhaps the lock manufacturers manufactured the hammers?

Drat, that is one of the issues I am missing out of my collection...have to see if I can find it somewhere...

I read somewhere that W C Scott made a lot of the frames for the double rifle trade also.
