In the abscence of steel keels all that would be left there would be soft solder. There appears to be a very small dent in the triangular space beneath the lower rib and the barrels. Steel isn't likely to dent. You may wish to scratch-test for steel or solder with the point of a needle or pin in those areas. Saw marks would only be visable after the most crudely cut barrels. Even "shade tree" gunsmiths would have filed saw marks smooth.
I'm not saying that your barrels are cut, only that the matting runs off the end of the rib, which usually points to bobbed barrels. I have a Parker with factory cut barrels, supported by factory records and the matting runs off the end of the rib.... but the steel keels are in place which would be a good indicator of factory work if data was not available on my gun.

Neat story. Neat gun. A letter should tell you the proper barrel lenth. Should be fun to shoot with RST shells or light hand loads.
