Charlie, that's exactly why I had this one converted to a 2 position only safety.

If that's the elsie you brought to Hartford, you did the right thing. It was terrible looking in blue.
I had Jerry do a stock job on a VH20 a while back, and he did a great job. |
Hello Edgar, yes that's the same Smith. The blue job done by the previous owner did not do this double proper justice. Thanks, A

Nice Elsie Allen. Now go shoot her and wear those colors off.

My barber has been a gun collector for most of his life.He tells me that he has a LC Smith hammer gun with two sets of barrels, alot of ingraving and a three digit matching serial numbers on everything. He was wondering if Smith collectors has a site that he could use to get a better idea of what he has.He got this weapon from an old farmer who lived next to him when he was a boy by swapping a Browing automatic and a promise to keep the gun.

I decided to sell the 'Elsie' as after a couple of rounds of skeet, it just didn't fit me as well as my Parkers. It was purchased my one of our fine PGCS Members who also took the 20 ga Ithaca flues I had. I'm in the hunt right now for another Parker.

Thanks for your reply on the Smith.I will forward the info to my barber.
