Maybe you can go over to your neighbor's place with a bottle of wine, some good old cheese and a digital camera, explain to him what's up, take some good macro photos and post them up for Mr. Skeuse and the rest of us to see. Let's get on it, eh? :corn:

:rotf::rotf::rotf: Bill posting pictures:rotf:

Yup, that's what it was. A 32" BHE Repro is what it was. Don't worry . . . SNIP . . . I do have some more details, but I'll wait until our friend, Mr. Skeuse comments about the gun, or at least the barrels.

Mr. Skeuse says he cannot comment on the gun or its barrels until he sees pics. We all know there isn't a snowball's chance in hell you'll ever post pics so he can comment, so why not fill us in on "I do have some more details"?

Glad to see others are on to the total lack of pictures ever being posted by old Eightbore!!:rotf:

It really is a pity as he's got so much to offer.

I have mentioned various of my guns that I have pictured on the internet and in articles that I have collaborated on. When I learn more about picture taking and posting, you will see more. As soon as the buyer's premium gets a little more reasonable at our favorite auction houses, you may see the whole bunch of my collection in pictures.

I think it’s doubtful that auction premiums will ever go lower, some do offer discounts to the seller, even zero % if the value is high and they make it up on the buyer’s premium!

Dean Romig 08-22-2023 10:49 AM

Right Bill, Julia's used to do that 0% for the sellers of high-dollar guns.

When some auctions charge 23% to the buyer, it's easy to charge the seller 0?%. I think most auctions will negotiate down to 0%.

I have gotten into the memory bank and seem to remember that the 32" barrels were originally Parker or Remington barrels.
