Well, I have owned it a week as of today. The first shot with it took a quail. It is well used but works fine as is.

all my quail guns have turned into squirl guns no birds around here....i have a d grade 20 ga damascus barrels a 20 ga v grade with factory 27 inch barrels and a 20 ga g grade with vulcan grade barrels 26 inch cly bore ...killed a few birds in kansas with cavlvin humbergwith that gun....thanks for that hunt calvin.....charlie

Not a classic quail gun but

Not a small bore but I sure would not hesitate to use it on quail with light loads. It is a 12 ga P with twist barrels on a 1 frame with factory 26" barrels. At 6lb 10oz it is a light weight and as fast handling as lightning. The opposite end of the quail gun spectrum.
