Not in the same company with Hendrix, Clapton or Vaughn but Dwayne Allman and Dickie Betts had some great performances (Jessica to name one).
As Dean said back to gun rooms. I'm looking for ideas. I especially like the gun cabinet that William has but would be afraid to leave meaningful guns out of the safes. Maybe something to display vintage cases and easily replaceable guns and rifles? Bob |
We have alway s done fairly well there (Salmon River) and did catch fish at 3000 CFS in the past (recommend a life jacket) but as this year taught us sometimes you can fish and sometimes not. I've hit it in horrendous cold and windy weather, but one or two big fish and a picture or two makes it worth it. There will be other days. It truly is a world class fishery right now but I get the sense that it can still be a fragil system. There was a fish kill of unknown origin this year so I tend to try and get there while it lasts.
The most memorable fish I ever hooked there(and kissed goodbye) jumped over a big downed tree in the river, smashed through the dead branches on the other side right after I said "I'd better keep him away from that tree" and left a burned image in my mind forever. |
Have they dropped the PCB ban on eating those fish?

Dean, I don't know. It came up in a discussion today with a description of the signs on the river that warned of such. I have pretty much fished the fly fishing catch and release are but in passing through the lower River and the upper parts of the whole River I have not seen a warning sign but that's not to say it still is not an issue.
