Lets se who gets one first Mills or Mark.
|
As many rounds as we'll be shooting over the weekend, I'm sure I could dedicate one to the 10ga. I've got a nice 32" DHE that I haven't shot as much as I'd like. Mark, Mills, I'll join you in a round!
How about two or three squads each shooting as a team where each person shoots a different gauge gun? Although I wouldn't want to be the guy shooting a 10 against Mark, as I've seen him swing that 36" 10ga. |

Squads with different guages sounds like fun...good idea Mike. We will have fun despite the naysayers who don't like shooting outside of Deep River.

I think I remember this gun and Mike did good on this purchase |
Mills, a Super Fox is VERY high on my list. It's right up there in the top spots along with a long barreled Parker 20ga, a 16ga Parker Hammer Gun and a Fox Single Barrel Trap Gun.
Mark, sorry to get you excited, it's actually a DH 10ga, no "E". :crying: But I'm still going to shoot it that week! Mike |
At least you don't have shells flying out of your gun.
The two Foxes I want are a Super Fox and an early C Grade. The Super Fox has been second on my list next to a Parker 8 for a long time. A Sterlingworth 16 on the light frame was high on my list, but that one was crossed off this past year. For those of you small bore fans, I highly recommend them. Mine is just a great gun and even has the IC/M chokes |
Rich has agreed that we will handicap the Double gun shoot at Drakes.
8&10 ga =-2, 12=O, 16ga =+3, 20ga=+5, 28ga=+10, +2 for a hammergun. This is modeled after the upcoming habitat shoot in Pa. Hope this works for everyone. David |
Sounds real good David. Although I hate to admit it, shooting a hammergun is no real handicap to me.
