:shock:Today I made my first internet purchase,a 10ga W C Scott.Hope it looks half as good as the pictures. Should recieve in about a week. Been looking at this gun for a year so I finally bit the bullet. If anybody wants to see pictures they may still be on line on vintage doubles. It is the secound one listed under hammerless section. May try to post pictures if I can figure it out. Finally secumed to the dogs engraved on the reciever. Now I can work on the 8ga that I have found.

I bought a Greener from Vintage Doubles and Kirby is a nice guy. A cousin of mine has done several deals with him and has been pleased as well.

Yes they are. We had problems with a new debit card,on my end, and kerby was very understanding. He held the gun for me till I could get it sorted out. Funny even when its your money the banks still wont let you have it.

Wayne:
You will be happy two ways:
1) Kirby is a good guy to deal with
2) A W&C Scott will spoil you for any other double

I bought a W & C Scott from a big dealer, but had to return it due to undisclosed problems. One of these days I am going to get another. I am hoping Kirby will get one in that is as nice a gun and as good a deal as the Greener I bought from him

I have heard that it dose kick pretty hard. They tell me that a lot of these are not regulating untill they reach 130gr. A patched round ball comes in at 500gr plus. I would like to kill a hog with it. It will be the bigest muzzle loader I have personally fired. Should generate as much excitement as one of your 8ga.
