Saw a hammer gun today serial #51179. What do you guys think? There asking $900. Everything seemed tight to me.

Looks like the barrels are blued, make sure they ring and the ribs are not loose. Good luck, Dave

It sure has an awful lot of "patina" and pitting and space between the stock head and the frame for the handsome sum of $900. I would pass on it.

The barrels and the locks looked blued. The wood looked good and original and the barrels looked great. 12 gauge 32 inch barrels. Should have taken a few more pics. Store was packed with guys trying to buy semi auto rifles lol.

51,xxx is to late for a gun with an unmatted rib. Check the barrel number.

The barrel numbers matched the rest of the gun.
