50 Parkers grades A through V. Lots of hammer guns, lots of damascus.

28,900 attendees.

Many old friends of the PGCA stopped by such as Lou from Conn. Shotgun....those fellows have been very generous to the PGCA. Many , many acquaintances made over the year. Doug Turnbull next to us.

Lots and lots of PGCA members came to see and touch Parkers.

we did a radio show promo and then while there, we did an hour long seminar every day.

PF put us in a mainstream location....we were swamped. 30 x 10 space, lots of raffle tickets sold. No cost to PGCA for any of this. Charlie, Dave and I hauled tables up and hauled them in.

We arranged for our L C Smith friends to be next door. Thought it might be good for their organization.

Thanks to
Dave Weber
Jeff Christie
Jeff Kuss
John Farrell ( 81 and a hoss...never let up, hauled, carried, worked the crowd)
Ed Morgan ( we'd be lost without him)
Randy and Jerry Havel
Pete Kappes

As always, the heart of the collection is Charlie's.. people loved to see hammer guns. When you haul 20 of your own guns, well I don't know what we would have without him.

Its always fun when we display the Browning gun.....theBrowning reps come over and we let them hold and inspect it and tell them John Browning sold Brownings but shot a Parker.

Always interesting to notice sparse crowds at the major gun makers booths and the packed crowds at the Parker display.

We had an entire rack only of high grade hammer lifters......its hard to see just one and here were a lot. To put them in perspective, they were made about the time Custer went to Montana, and here they are today, still drop dead gorgeous, the epitome of the gunmakers art and useful still.

A few photos taken before the crowds deluged. I'm just back and tired.

Milwaukee for the first time next year....don't know how we will support that.....its a long two day drive for me, very long way to haul and set up. We are doing the NRA show in May.....that's also two days and down and two days back. Another 50 to 60 good Parkers needed to fill the space. People want to see wow stuff.

Bruce- thanks for the great report.

Lets be clear on the ask- WE NEED VOLUNTEERS! None of the great things the PGCA does happen without folks sharing their time, talents, and treasures to make an event like this successful. If we all put as much time in to doing events as we spend goofing off on this website, imagine what we could accomplish in the way of promoting Parker Shotguns?

Once again you guys are to be commended for your dedicated hard work in putting together a great PGCA display. You core four or five PGCA Members do this every time but you can always use some determined volunteers to help ease the burden of setting up and breaking down the booth as well as manning the booth too. Nice job!!

Here is a picture of Sat morning at the 2012 NRA show, taken from the safety of our booth. This was our view most of the day. If you are planning to attend NRA Houston, you are best to come Fri or Sun.
