Gentlemen,

I apologize in advance for using up your time, but my chief Parker guru passed away several years ago. I know something about shotguns, but very little about Parkers.

A friend picked up these 2 stocks and forends at a garage sale, of all places. I assume they were made for the Parker repros - the grip cap says "Parker by Winchester". But that's about all I know. Is there any way of determining what they fit? Do they have any value?

The straight grip stock is particularly nice, and the beavertail is also a fine piece of walnut. Both stocks have skeleton buttplates. One has a checkered butt, the other has a checkered piece made to fit the plate. Both had the hardware loose with the stocks, although there was some rust on those parts.

In any case I appreciate whatever help you can offer.

Yes, they have value. How much depends on whether they were removed from the guns for some reason related to a defect. The buttplates have value even if the wood is somehow damaged or flawed.

Thank you, Bill. I don't see any damage, such as cracks, repaired breaks, etc. The straight grip stock has a piece of wood machined into the head, but this looks like factory work for reinforcement. Other than some handling marks, the wood appears to be in nice shape.

The head of the straight grip stock is 1 11/16" wide by 2" deep. The other is 1 9/16" wide by 1 15/16" deep. 12 gauge and 20?
