Gary,

No new Parker under the tree but I did receive another day with my faithful dog Radar. He and I took a walk at daybreak through a layer of freshly fallen snow with 16 gauge CE Fox in hand. Rabbit tracks were everywhere but none were found on this beautiful morning.

Another day with my dog. I couldn't ask for more in Heaven.

BFT- That is priceless. I hope you get a bunch more days like that.

I am going to check my neighbors house and see if Santa got my address wrong. I dont see any long skinny packages under the tree.

Alright, im not sure how to post pictures on here but I do know all the serial numbers match, it has had some work done to it back in the day. Can some one date it for me? starts with a 2 ends with a 1 and is 6 numbers long, patent date from 1910? on the water table and i think its a size 2 12ga? I'll try to figure pictures out!! (promise! as its has a silver frame with blued barrels)

the "silver" should just be bare steel with the case color finish worn away.

as for dating it - or giving you much information on it- we need the whole serial number not the hundred thousand range it falls in :)

and there is a picture tutorial in the FAQ's link on the home page

Santa brought me a V Grade 28 gauge. I do believe!

My grand daughter has lost her Disney Princess digital camera so no pictures for now. I am working on finding a camera.

217211 shows as a 12 gauge Trojan with 30 inch barrels and a pistol grip stock.

Thats what it is! However its not the original forend, it appears to have been shortened or replaced as the wear on the barrel is a couple inches longer than the current fore grip. The one on it now is a beaver tail grip that wraps way up! It looks like there is an insert as well before the recoil pad, the stock hasn't been cut, also, it has the initials "EB" done on the bottom of the pistol grip in what appears to be ivory as well. That don't hurt my feelings none though :P

Congrats everybody on your new guns, Looks like somebody was good this past year! No new Parkers here, but did get a box of good cigars and a bottle of old bourbon, you know things seem to get better with age! guns and everything else, even sex, might not be as often, but still good! maybe because it's scarce! I will not let my better half read this. Gary
