I’m confused.
I have recently taken in on trade a Parker DH gun made in 1926.
It’s a 12ga on a 1-1/2 frame with 28” barrels.

My confusion is based upon the fact that this gun has ejectors but is not marked DHE. Can this be? Unfortunately the skeleton butt plate has been replaced with a White Line rubber pad. Can anyone give me their thoughts or expertise to explain my gun.

If you have a Grade 3, or DH with ejectors then you have a DHE. You will not find factory markings designating it a DHE on the gun.

It's possible it was originally a DH and sent back to the factory to be converted to a DHE. The answer lies within the PGCA letter.

DHE Grade Parkers were not marked as such. They were marked DH. If it was upgraded to an ejector gun, the letter would tell you that if the information is available.

If you would mention the serial number, maybe we could tell you what the story really is.

Thanks for the info. This gun also has a straight grip with a single selective trigger
Serial number 220262. When I typed this serial number into the search box the reply was that there was no info in the records. Should I try anyway?
