If you were duck hunting with this GHE 32" steel barrel gun and lost your paddle overboard you could get home with this baby. That said I don't think I would put it in the water. enjoy Gary

I forgot to say double clock and get close ups. The gun is 12 gauge on 1-1/2 frame

Gary,
Those engraved birds look like birds! Are you sure that this is a Parker? :rotf:
I wish my Parkers had birds that looked like birds...

It would be ok if used as a rudder for going downstream:rotf:. As a safty note when used as a rudder make sure it's unloaded.

i don't think you need to worry, if you're up the creek without a paddle
just take the GHE out of its case and pronounce it "original"
then you can get a ride back with any of the half dozen folks who show up out of nowhere to tell you it can't be.
:corn:
and oh yeah - nice gun

Gary - like i said -- nice gun, and I didn't say it was not original, just - ya know how it goes.

No problem, When I bought the gun 10years ago in Wilmington OH, I did not think the stock was original, and the owner graciously let me take the guard off. and there it was

Is that one of those newfangled "hammerless" guns? I thought you were a hammer man?

We have been treated to a lot of nice Gs lately. Like I said in a different thread, the G is much unappreciated. Right Mills?

Gary, not only do the engraved birds look like birds, they actually look like ducks and pheasants. Most Gs I have ever seen have had the ubiquitous "flying turnips". Very nice and unique.

Mr C. very nice. Thanks for sharing.
Mr N: wow is that the #2 frame 20? that is one cool gun and that stock makes it even cooler. One fine shooting iron. Is she a no saftey gun to boot or the safety is off just for the picture? Man that is cool. :)

Yea, I am a hammer man but have had these hammerless for quite a while. Here is another G Grade 10 gauge Damascus gun in fine original condition, and I promise not to post any more photo's till at least a week!

Gary;
That is one beauty of a straight gripped Parker. Where do you come up with these beauties? Are you sure you are'nt having them made by some secret gunmaker down you way?:rolleyes:
Dave;
Nice. Who's doing your work?

I took photo's all day, cloudy and such made for good conditions, les see, 10g a A grade, ol#97 back action, 12g a D hammer in original case, 12g a C grade w/ 32" Bernard brls, trying to document all my guns, my man cave is a little crowded! to say the least.

Craig Libhart is doing my "Big Twenty". Went for the Monte Carlo style to get the higher comb without bending the tangs etc. The original 1889 vintage stock was 2-inch drop-at-comb and 3 1/8 inch drop-at-heel.

Dave;
You could'nt have picked a better craftsman to do your stock. I'm sure it will be spectacular and I can't wait to see it.
