Now I completely understand if folks want to get excited about a chopped barrel , no action relic selling cheap on E Bay, but if they feel a need to look at a whole gun, here is one.
The damascus pattern is Stars and Stripes or sometimes called American Bunting.
This one is owned by a friend whom I understand bought it with a load of hay rather than possibly being accused of ( horrors) using a checkbook to make a purchase.

Yeah - i was going to say hay prices must have gone up lately, I was just going to get some straw -I hope that won't cost a Parker :rotf:
Once again Bruce - very nice, thank you for posting it.

Now that is a neat gun. I can see hay in every direction around here but Parkers like this one are scarce as hens teeth. Nice. Gerald.

That's a pretty gun, but the top lever is all crooked.

Well Gerald, this one came out of Kentucky.
Doc Van bought a decent 16ga top action hammer gun at a gun show in Pratt KS. It was neglected and needed work, but it was all there. Stock is fixed, barrels refinshed, lots of wow now.
They are out there. Sometimes a person looks for years, sometimes at the first small town gun show you attend. They don't all come from the east coast.

It's nice that you have friends with fancy guns for you to take pictures of. The rest of us heathens wouldn't get to see a good one if it wasn't for you......

In California, tradin' hay's called marijuana. Worth almost as much as Parkers!
