Anyone seen any documents for this matter? Makes a nice yarn but the truth may be different. Would make a nice mag article.

There are great PP articles that study and explain the arrows on the Parker ribs. Maybe some of our members who are Parker pen collectors will post some pictures of their clips. Apparently, artist Joseph Platt designed the Parker pen arrow in 1933. I have no idea who he is or what connection he had to the pen industry.

The story relates to a connection between Parker gun and Parker pen presidents. Any documents or is it an unproven speculation?

Charlie Price did a very nice article on the arrows prior to 2000 in the Parker Pages. The same information is in TPS. Anyone collecting Parkers needs to review these articles and have a good recall of the differences for each grade. They help on upgraded guns and barrels that have been replaced. Note, the arrows did change with time on the same grade but they remained similar.
I am not aware of any written material from PB on the arrows.

Any documentation on any relationship between Parker Pen and Parker gun arrows? Thats what I'm looking for.
I believe Parker Pen was after Parker Bros, so perhaps the better place to look is Parker Pen.
Get your boat out of the way of the storm Mark? And I know you are on the water, and I hope on not in. Let us know how you fared.

All Mark needed for the storm was one helper to assist in driving the Corvettes inland.

The corvettes did fine in the storm. The boats were more of a concern but they escaped any damage. Our friend Buddy Marson had some minor damage underneath his house and is without heat for awhile. Neither one of us lost power which is a first for me. VB was lucky unlike our friends to the north.

I have a good friend named George Parker. George's grandfather founded Parker Pen Company in Janesville Wisconsin. George and I have discussed whether or not there was ever any relationship between the Gun company and the Pen company.
George says that as far as he knows there never was any relationship or connection. He says that his family is not related to the Chas. Parker family.
Having said all that, George does have "somewhat" of a connection. He has a G grade Parker in his collection.
