Recently aquired no. 2133 backaction gun. Sadly, the old girl is missing her hammers. Anybody out there help? The barrels are pretty poor but the rest of her is pretty good. I could live with any hammer that would work.

There were some on Ebay not long ago. Check Ebay and Gunbroker.

The Hammers from the back action guns are different that the hammers from the regular later hammer guns. But, they may be made to work if you can find a pair. Hammers from other makes of guns may work as well.

I got a pair of castings (L&R) from Dixie for my 1884 0 grade. I squared out the axle hole with a file (took a while); they're unfinished and kinda ugly, but they work.

That gun deserves some new hammers. It looks like it is in pretty good condition.
